Tekken Tag 2: Devil Jin

Tekken Tag 2 Devil Jin
Today I've got a great tutorial concerning one of the top tier characters in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Devil Jin. (You can check out the video courtesy of LevelUpYourGame at the end of this post.) Devil Jin is the evil transformation of Jin Kazama who was of course infected with the Devil gene in an earlier version of Tekken.

As a result of this, Devil Jin is obsessed with power and this really shows in Devil Jin's exceptional combo ability. At first these combos may be a little difficult to pull off, but with practice and patience you get the hang of it. After that, the sky is the limit really with Devil Jin, especially due to the fact that his combos have great wall carry along with massive damage output.

In terms of his ranking versus the other Mishima characters, he definitely has the best overall game. Along with combo potential, his poking and punishment is quite good. He has the mighty electric wind god fist and his laser is great in certain situations. Also, unlike Kazuya, he does not have to transform to use the laser moves.

He also possesses wonderful low moves that are both hard to punish and have great crushing properties. His db+2 is the best example of this. Compare this to Heihachi, who does not possess low moves with these properties and Devil Jin's superiority in this regard becomes apparent.

In conclusion I would say that if you're looking for a complete player to use in Tekken Tag 2, then Devil Jin is the character to use. Yes, you would have to practice for a while upfront, but it is well worth it in the end. So, as promised, check out the tutorial below and sound off in the comments section below with regards to your best Tekken Tag 2 character.

How to turn off the Roku

You've just finished watching your favorite programs on the Roku, and would like to switch it off for the night. One problem though, you can't find the off button! This is a common problem with many Roku users and unfortunately, there is actually no power off button on the Roku. It was designed to stay on all the time so as to constantly be updated with the latest software and programs. Not to worry though, you can still go old school and just unplug the entire unit. Yes, this might be a hassle, but as of now that's your only choice. If you do choose to leave it on however, the Roku draws very little power as it goes in a standby mode. In this mode it will actually draw less power than many other home appliances that are always left on.
I hope that this tutorial was helpful and feel free to ask any questions in the comments section below.

How to Unlock the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and S3

Samsung Galaxy

If you own the Samsung Galaxy S3 or Note 2, then you may want to unlock it. Unlocking is basically the process of removing the one carrier restriction that is placed on the phone when you buy it. This then allows you to place any sim card you have in the phone and still enjoy complete useability. Apart from allowing you greater flexibility in terms of which carrier to use, this process increases your phone's resale value as well. The method that will be shown is completely free. Check out the video below courtesy of Daveen Jay and if you have any questions please comment below. One more thing, this process requires the use of Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1. If you have a later version, you could always downgrade the software and upgrade again after unlocking.

How to watch youtube on Roku

Roku

Are you a Roku fan? If you are, you're probably quite surprised to have realized that Roku does not natively support Youtube. The most popular video sharing platform has been the biggest omission in Roku's great service but, there is of course a workaround for this.  It involves using the an app called Twonky. Basically, you download this app on your internet enabled mobile device and then stream Youtube videos from your mobile to the Roku set top. Yes, it's a bit of a roundabout method but at least it gets the job done and it does it quite efficiently as well. For the full set up, check out the video below from CNET.

HTC One Battery Removal

HTC HTC's flagship smartphone for 2013, the HTC One, is a magnificent piece of technology. However, as with anything else, there were a few drawbacks, a major one being the inability to remove the battery. Even though the battery life on the HTC One is quite good, there are those who will need that extra power. For those of you that do, this tutorial is for you. Check out the video below from etradesupply showing a full teardown of the HTC One (You shouldn't really try this if you're not a professional!).

Alternatively, you could get the battery replacement text version courtesy of iFixit from the link below, showing you how to remove the battery on the HTC One. One word of caution though, this process was quite arduous and permanent damage to the HTC One's aluminum body looks like being unavoidable, so attempt this at your own risk. HTC definitely didn't make this phone with repairability in mind, that's for sure.

HTC One Creative Photography

HTC
The HTC One has been out a few days now and people have been getting creative with its awesome features. One of its most attractive features is Zoe. Basically this is a bit of a multimedia mix which includes a short three second video along with a picture. Yes, three seconds doesn't sound like much, but this feature of the HTC One is actually quite enjoyable. It can then be uploaded to social media or emailed. I've included a video below which shows CNET's Donald Bell running through some of the camera's features. Enjoy!

Blinkfeed Customization in HTC One

HTC One Blinkfeed

For those of us who have the HTC One you may have noticed that the home screen is set by default to be Blinkfeed. Blinkfeed is basically a  feed that consists of news and social networking updates. This is indeed very useful as it keeps you up to date. As useful as it may be, at sometime or another you might want to change the home screen or just customize Blinkfeed itself. Since this is not as easy as it should be, I've included a tutorial below from CNET which shows everything you need to know about Blinkfeed customization. Hope you enjoy it and don't forget to comment below.

Tekken Tag 2 Heihachi Guide

One of my favorite games is Tekken. For those who don't know, Tekken is a fighting game produced by NAMCO games. The latest installment is known as Tekken Tag Tournament 2. In my opinion it is the best fighting game around. It can get a bit technical at times though, and this is where getting a hold of solid tutorials can be crucial to mastering the game. Below you will find a video done by TheMainMan showing how to master Heihachi Mishima. The main man is one of the best mishima players I've seen and the tutorial is certainly the best I've come across. Please support his efforts by rating and subscribing to his channel( I've done so already).
